Bukit Piton Reforestation & Syntropic Farm Donors Tour (L)

This meaningful day tour highlights Bukit Piton — one of Sabah’s most inspiring rainforest restoration success stories — and connects it with our syntropic farm near Lahad Datu. See how regenerative agriculture and reforestation work hand in hand to bring back life to the land and provide a future for orangutans and other wildlife.

12:00 – Departure from Lahad Datu with a packed lunch. Travel first to our Syntropic Farm for a guided walk and introduction to regenerative agriculture. Learn how soil health, biodiversity, and forest renewal are deeply connected.

Afterwards – Continue to Bukit Piton for a reforestation site visit. Walk through sections of restored forest, hear the story of the orangutans’ return, and take part in a tree planting activity to directly support ongoing restoration under the SynBorneo initiative.

15:00 – Begin a wildlife safari around the Bukit Piton area. With your local guides, search for orangutans, hornbills, macaques and other forest species while learning about their habitats and the conservation efforts that protect them.

18:00 – Return to Lahad Datu.
