Born from a shared love for cycling, adventure, and connection, Bike and Tours — today HAK’s World Travel & Tours became a dream project fueled by countless hours of planning, pedaling, and passion for discovery.

Before Bike and Tours was born, Simon had already followed this passion on one of his greatest personal journeys: cycling from Switzerland all the way to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa. This long ride shaped much of the spirit behind our work — the belief that travel is not only about distance, but about people, landscapes, endurance, and the stories collected along the way.

Our very first journey, the Borneo Eco Ride, stretched from Sandakan to the island paradise of Mabul. It was more than just a cycling tour — it was an immersion into Borneo’s rivers, jungles, and coral seas. Along the way, our guests didn’t just ride; they cruised rivers, trekked rainforests, snorkeled with sea turtles, and experienced Borneo beyond the wheels.

From those early days, our mission has remained the same: to create meaningful travel experiences that combine adventure, nature, and community. Whether it’s a private cycling journey, a farm-to-table dinner, or a stay at our boutique B&B, every experience reflects the same passion that started it all.
