The Last Frontier Boutique Resort Itinerary

Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights

Day 1 – Arrival at The Last Frontier (L/D)

  • 12:00 – Meet at your hotel lobby in Sandakan, Sandakan Airport or Sepilok area (12:30).
  • Transfer by car (approx. 2 hours) to The Last Frontier.
  • 14:30 – Arrival, welcome drink and lunch while enjoying the view from the ridge.
  • Check-in and freshen up in your room.
  • 16:00 – Afternoon river cruise (approx. 2 hours).
  • 19:30 – Dinner at the lodge.

Day 2 – Jungle Walk & Evening Cruise (B/L/D)

  • 07:30 – Breakfast.
  • 09:00 – Guided jungle walk along the serene hill ridge (approx. 2 hrs).
  • 12:30 – Lunch.
  • Afternoon at leisure (2 hours).
  • 16:00 – Afternoon river cruise (approx. 2 hours).
  • 19:30 – Dinner at the lodge.

Day 3 – Departure (B)

  • 07:00 – Breakfast.
  • 07:45 – Departure from the lodge.
  • Arrival back in Sandakan ~10:30, Sepilok area ~09:45.

Included

  • 3 days / 2 nights full board accommodation (all rooms with en suite bathroom, hot/cold shower, fan & air-con)
  • Meals as stated (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner)
  • 2 afternoon river cruises

Not Included

  • Transportation via Sandakan (RM 50 per person one way / RM 100 return)
  • Tourist tax (RM 10 per room per night, payable locally)

Important Notes

  • The lodge is located on a ridge, only accessible via a 600-step staircase. Lockers are available at the base – bring only essentials (not large suitcases).
