Borneo Rainforest Lodge – Danum Valley Conservation Area

Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights

Day 1 (L/D)

  • Pick-up in Lahad Datu (airport or B&B) for a 2.5-hour overland transfer to the Danum Valley Conservation Area.
  • Check-in at Borneo Rainforest Lodge and enjoy lunch.
  • Afternoon: introductory trek along the Nature Trail & Canopy Walkway.
  • Dinner at the lodge, followed by a Guided Night Safari Drive (timing depends on weather and wildlife activity).

Day 2 (B/L/D)

  • Wake to the calls of Bornean gibbons. After breakfast, trek to the View Point and visit the Kadazandusun burial site – Coffin Cliff.
  • Take a refreshing dip at the Natural Jacuzzi Pool before lunch.
  • Afternoon options: guided jungle trek, water tubing on the Danum River (weather permitting), or leisure time at the lodge.
  • After dinner: Guided Night Walk along the trails.

Day 3 (B)

  • Breakfast at the lodge. Optional early morning walk before check-out.
  • Transfer back to Lahad Datu (airport or B&B).
