Duration: 8 Days / 7 Nights

Discover Sarawak’s landscapes and culture on two wheels and beyond. Cycle through rice fields and fishing villages, kayak jungle rivers, explore caves, meet orangutans, and end your adventure by the South China Sea. This is the ultimate active journey through Sarawak’s rainforest.

Day 1 – Arrival in Kuching & Heritage Trail Cycling (D)

Arrival in Kuching and hotel check-in. In the late afternoon, meet your guide, try out the bikes, and begin with a heritage ride through Kuching’s old town. Cross the Sarawak River by sampan, visit Fort Margherita, and discover the Brooke Rajahs’ legacy.

Day 2 – Orangutans & Cycle to Annah Rais Longhouse (B/L/D)

Morning visit to Semenggoh Nature Reserve to see rehabilitated orangutans during feeding time. Then cycle along backroads, passing pepper farms, rice fields and villages, to reach Annah Rais Bidayuh Longhouse. Dinner and overnight with your hosts.

Day 3 – Kayak, Caves & Cycle to Siniawan (B/L/D)

Start with a jungle river kayak through limestone hills and waterfalls. Continue by bike through Bau’s limestone karst, visiting Wind and Fairy Caves. End in Siniawan, a historic shophouse town with a lively evening atmosphere.

Day 4 – Cycle to Matang Wildlife Center (B/L/D)

Cycle along the foothills of Mount Matang, crossing rivers and suspension bridges. Stop at waterfalls for a swim before reaching Matang Wildlife Center. Explore the reserve, home to orangutans, sun bears, and hornbills. Night walk in the rainforest.

Day 5 – Cycle to Gunung Gading National Park (B/L/D)

Ride along the coast to Lundu. Visit Gunung Gading National Park, famous for the rare Rafflesia flower. Afternoon free to relax by the pool or beach.

Day 6 – Cycle to Sematan (B/L/D)

Follow coastal roads lined with coconut palms and paddy fields to Sematan. Picnic lunch at a waterfall, then continue along quiet white-sand beaches to your seaside resort. Sunset dinner by the sea.

Day 7 – Beach Relaxation & Return to Kuching (B/L/D)

Enjoy a relaxed morning by the beach. After lunch, return by road to Kuching. Farewell seafood dinner in the evening.

Day 8 – Departure (B)

Transfer to Kuching International Airport for onward journey.
