Pedal & Paddle Sarawak Adventure

Duration: 3 Days / 2 Nights

Day 1 – Orangutans & Cycle (35km) to Annah Rais Longhouse (L/D)

  • Morning transfer to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, where rehabilitated orangutans roam freely in a protected rainforest. With some luck, you’ll see them during feeding time.
  • Begin cycling on quiet backroads past pepper farms, rice paddies, and plantations.
  • Arrive at Annah Rais Longhouse, one of the oldest Bidayuh settlements, home to more than 80 families.
  • Enjoy a traditional lunch of bamboo chicken and jungle vegetables with your host family.
  • Afternoon at leisure: explore the longhouse, learn about Bidayuh culture, or swim in a nearby mountain stream.
  • Dinner and overnight at a Bidayuh homestay.

Day 2 – Kayaking (7km)& Cycle (28km) to Kuching Buddhist Village (B/L/D)

  • After breakfast, transfer to the river for a kayak adventure through calm rainforest waters shaded by overhanging trees and alive with jungle sounds.
  • Lunch at the kayaking base before beginning your afternoon ride.
  • Cycle along rolling backroads, finishing at the tranquil Kuching Buddhist Village near Siniawan.
  • Evening visit to Siniawan Night Market, where heritage shophouses come alive with food stalls and local culture.
  • Overnight at Kuching Buddhist Village.

Day 3 – Fairy Cave & Cycle (55km) to Telaga Air (B/L)

  • Start the day with a vegetarian breakfast before transferring to Fairy Cave, a dramatic limestone cavern formed millions of years ago.
  • Cycle the longest stretch of the trip (55 km) through limestone hills, rural villages, and mangrove landscapes.
  • End the ride at the fishing village of Telaga Air, where you’ll enjoy lunch before your transfer back to Kuching city.
