Nur eine Stunde mit dem Boot von Semporna entfernt gilt Mataking Island oft als Malaysias Paradiesinsel. Umgeben von weißen Sandstränden, türkisblauem Meer und einer beeindruckenden Unterwasserwelt ist sie die Heimat des The Reef Dive Resort – dem einzigen Resort auf der Insel, was Ruhe und Exklusivität garantiert.

Die Insel ist ein Traumziel für Taucher und Schnorchler – mit Korallenriffen direkt am Strand und Zugang zur weltberühmten Sipadan Island (ca. 80 Minuten per Boot, Permit erforderlich). Mataking ist zudem bekannt für Malaysias erstes Unterwasser-Postamt, von dem man beim Tauchen Postkarten verschicken kann!

Mit ihren stilvollen Chalets, der romantischen Atmosphäre und dem verwöhnenden Jamu Spa ist Mataking besonders beliebt bei Honeymoonern, die Sonne, Meer und unvergessliche Momente suchen.
